         GUIDELINES AND RULES OF THE PHOTO CONTEST


1.      All entries must be based on the following themes
1.      WONDERS OF NATURE:
Ø    Shades of greenery
Ø    Colors of sky
Ø    Garden blooms
Ø    Rhythms of ocean

2. UNSEEN REALITIES

3.      CAMPUS LIFE

2.   Entrants may submit multiple entries, provided each entry is based on a different            
             theme.
3.    Only college students are allowed to participate.
4.    Entrants are eligible to participate, if and only if they had undergone the free 
       Registration,
5.          All entries with the duly filled registration form and photograph can be sent to

                                                    Vazhakulam, Muvattupuzha,
                                                    Ernakulam Dist.
6.          The post must bear the title
                  “Entries for the Intercollegiate Photo contest 2010”
7.          The entries may also be handled over in person before 9.30 am on the day of event.
8.          Three best photographs will be choosen ,one each from the three main themes
9.          Prizes will be awarded for the three best photographs and no participation certificates will be issued.
10.      The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges ,whose decision will be final. No correspondence will be exchanged to disscuss the merits and demerits of images that are not selected.
11.      The decision of the judges with respect to the model of the prizes shall be final and no dispute shall be  entertained in this regard.

Requirement of the photograph


1.        All photos must be of the size  approximately  8” x  6” (at least) taken on photographic paper    
2.        Soft copies (on usb drives,CD etc) will not be permitted. 
3.        The photo must have a white boarder. The theme of the photograph must be
printed on the top border. The name of the entrant  and his contact  number must        be printed on the bottom border.
4.        Sufficient details should be provided along with the photograph for further intimation.
5.        The photograph must be original and  manipulation of the image using softwares like photoshop is totally unacceptable.
6.        The photograph must be a work of the entrant.
7.        Violation of the above mentioned requirements will lead to disqualification.
